matrix is a decentralized chat platform, with focus on E2EE (End-to-End Encryption). it's sort of like discord or snapchat, but actually.. well, private. even we can't see what you send. (except for media) we have a homeserver available for use on request at: matrix.pupusas.cc (use a client like Cinny to login on web, or Element X on mobile) your username will display as @yourname:pupusas.cc after registration contact valasztas[at]keemail.me to get an account to make it easier to read through, you could write your email as something like this (not required, but encouraged): "i would like the username (your choice here) on matrix.pupusas.cc. i swear in good faith i will not use this account to upload or distribute any malicious or illegal files or information. our homeserver runs on the latest version of Synapse, because frankly every other homeserver impl sucks. please keep in mind that for now in the early stages, there are file size limits and (not often) media clearing. this isn't to try to suppress user activity, rather to save storage on our end. the speed of the homeserver / your messages is not affected by this.
